This piece was originally composed by Augusto Báez for piano in honour of Juan Antonio Ramos.
The first time I heard this lullaby was thanks to Abraham Ramos which he played on a timple midi at the Convento de Santo Domingo in Teguise, in Lanzarote, on the 6th of May.
I was captivated by how emotional it made me feel the simplicity of its melody.
It's part of Abraham's disc "Recordando a José Antonio Ramos" that, obviously, is also a homage to the same timple player.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
