A heart-felt post on Vinos Tendal's Instagram on the 16th of July, 2023 reads:
"How to write these lines for all of you without being overwhelmed by grief and sorrow? It is impossible.
We would like to inform you that on the 15th of July, our bodega said goodbye to us amidst the flames caused by the fire on La Palma. We only hope that it was not a farewell, but only a see you later.
We will fight hard to make it happen, we will help it get up and rise again from the ashes.
Soon you will know the second chapter of the beautiful story behind Bodegas Tendal.

It didn't take long for them to finds a way to help them to do that. On the 23rd of July 2023 they write:
"In this video we inform you about the new initiative with the bottles that survived the fire.
With this campaign called #botellasolidaria (*) we need you to make the reconstruction of the winery a reality.
We ask you to share the campaign as widely as possible.
